Official Rules

Effective Date: October 1, 2026

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. FREE TO PLAY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Sponsor

The Gambit Gamer Season Competition (the “Competition”) is sponsored and administered by Gambit Gamer, Inc. (“Sponsor”).

Streamers featured on Gambit Gamer are Gambit Performance Units, also known as “GPUs.” GPUs are subjects of gameplay, not sponsors or administrators of the Competition. Featured GPUs may include Sponsor’s own founder or personnel.

Third parties may provide or sponsor prizes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they do not administer the Competition.

Product and brand names may be used to identify prizes. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

2. Definitions

Threader — a person with a Gambit Gamer account who participates in the Competition.

GPU (Gambit Performance Unit) — a streamer featured on Gambit Gamer whose live performance is the subject of gameplay.

Gambit (or call) — a prediction submitted by a Threader on GPU performance.

Matched position — a gambit that has been matched with a compatible opposing gambit from another Threader.

Resolution — the process by which a matched gambit is decided according to the applicable outcome.

GGS — free seasonal Competition points used to make gambits. GGS has no monetary value.

GGX — Gambit Gamer's competitive performance rating, derived from resolved gambits under the published method.

Season — a Competition period as described in Section 4. Standard Seasons run monthly.

Founder Pre-Season — the soft-launch period before Season 1.

Verified Threader — a Threader who has completed the published verification requirements.

Global Leaderboard — the public ranking of eligible Threaders by Season GGX.

Class — a competitive tier used for prize eligibility: Omega Club, Alpha Class, or Delta Class.

1UP — a limited Season continue that refills GGS as published for the Season.

Recovery Mode — a reduced-refill participation mode available after all 1UPs are used, which removes standard Season prize eligibility.

The Summit — the Season prize drawing.

Drawing entries — a qualified Threader's chances in their Class's drawing, allocated under the published method.

The Vault — the prize collection from which winners make their selection.

Vault Key — the single-use claim credential issued to a verified Season winner, valid for the published claim window.

3. Eligibility

To participate, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • meet the published residency requirements;
  • have a Gambit Gamer account in good standing; and
  • meet any additional eligibility requirements published for the Competition.

Void where prohibited by law.

One person may compete through only one Threader account.

Employees, contractors, and officers of Sponsor, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to win Season prizes.

One prize per person per Season.

Sponsor will publish any residency requirements that apply to participation or prize eligibility.

Sponsor may require verification of age, residency, identity, or eligibility.

4. Seasons

Standard Seasons run on a monthly schedule.

Season start dates, end dates, deadlines, and Summit dates will be published by Sponsor.

The applicable Season schedule uses Pacific Time unless otherwise stated.

4.1 Founder Pre-Season

Founder Pre-Season is Gambit Gamer’s soft-launch period before Season 1.

Founder Pre-Season will continue until Gambit Gamer reaches 369 Verified Threaders and Sponsor announces the start of Season 1.

Season 1 will generally begin on the first day of a calendar month.

Sponsor may continue Founder Pre-Season beyond the 369 Verified Threader milestone before beginning Season 1.

Founder Pre-Season does not include the standard Season prize drawing.

Sponsor may offer separate prizes, challenges, events, testing activities, gifts, or GPU-specific activities during Founder Pre-Season under separately announced terms.

5. Season Parameters

Sponsor will publish the applicable Competition requirements for each Season before that Season begins.

Published Season parameters may include:

  • starting GGS;
  • starting GGX;
  • Leaderboard requirements;
  • Class requirements;
  • 1UP rules;
  • Recovery Mode rules;
  • drawing-entry rules;
  • winner counts;
  • prize availability;
  • Vault claim deadlines; and
  • Summit date and time.

Published Season parameters may change between Seasons.

6. GGS

GGS are free Competition points.

GGS cannot be:

  • purchased;
  • sold;
  • transferred between Threaders; or
  • redeemed for cash.

Each Threader receives the published starting GGS balance for the Season.

Unused seasonal GGS resets or expires at the end of the Season.

Nothing that can be bought — on or off the platform — affects GGX, Class eligibility, drawing entries, or odds of winning. Cosmetic collectibles are display-only and are governed by the Terms of Service.

7. 1UP and Recovery Mode

A Threader who exhausts the applicable competitive GGS balance may use an available 1UP.

The number of 1UPs and refill amount will be published for the Season.

Using a 1UP affects Class and prize eligibility as published for that Season.

After all available 1UPs have been used, an eligible Threader may enter Recovery Mode.

Recovery Mode provides a reduced GGS refill for continued participation.

Entering Recovery Mode removes standard Season prize eligibility for the remainder of that Season.

8. Gambits and Matching

A submitted gambit becomes a matched position only when it is matched with a compatible opposing gambit from another Threader.

Compatible gambits are generally matched first-in, first-out.

GGS assigned to a pending gambit may be reserved while the gambit waits to match.

If a pending gambit is canceled or expires before matching, the reserved GGS becomes available again.

Unmatched gambits:

  • do not affect GGX;
  • do not count as resolved gambits; and
  • do not count toward activity requirements that require resolved gambits.

9. Resolution

Matched gambits are resolved according to the applicable outcome.

A resolved gambit may affect:

  • GGS;
  • GGX;
  • competitive record; and
  • Season standing.

If an underlying match is canceled, abandoned, declared a Draw, or otherwise cannot be validly resolved, the affected gambit may be voided.

For a voided gambit:

  • applicable committed GGS is returned;
  • there is no GGX gain or loss; and
  • the gambit does not count as a qualifying resolved gambit.

10. GGX

GGX is Gambit Gamer’s competitive performance rating.

Each Threader begins the Season at the published starting GGX.

GGX increases or decreases from eligible resolved gambits under the published GGX method.

GGX cannot be purchased, transferred, or redeemed for cash.

The GGX scoring method will be published and applied consistently.

11. Global Leaderboard

To appear on the Global Leaderboard, a Threader must meet the published GGX and activity requirements for the Season.

Eligible Threaders are ranked according to Season GGX, subject to applicable Class display rules.

If a Threader no longer meets the applicable Leaderboard requirements, the Threader may be removed until those requirements are met again.

12. Competitive Classes

The standard competitive Classes are:

Ω Omega Club

Omega Club is the highest competitive Class.

Threaders who meet the published Omega requirements join Omega Club and share equal standing within the Class.

Α Alpha Class

Threaders who meet the published Alpha requirements qualify for Alpha Class.

Δ Delta Class

Threaders who meet the published Delta requirements qualify for Delta Class.

Class requirements and prize eligibility will be published for each Season.

Using a 1UP may limit a Threader to Delta Class.

Entering Recovery Mode removes standard Season prize eligibility.

13. The Summit

The Summit is the Season prize drawing.

Final Class eligibility is determined after the Season closes.

Eligible Threaders receive drawing entries according to the published method for their Class.

Sponsor will publish:

  • the applicable drawing-entry method;
  • the number of winners;
  • the drawing method; and
  • the final results.

If multiple winners are selected from the same Class, winners are selected without replacement.

If no Threader qualifies for a Class, no drawing is held for that Class and no prize is awarded. Prize value does not carry forward to a future Season.

14. Drawing Integrity

Sponsor will use a published and verifiable method for standard Season prize drawings.

Sponsor will publish enough information for the drawing result to be independently verified.

Drawing entries affect a Threader’s chance of being selected but do not change the Threader’s Class standing.

Once a drawing is completed and recorded, it will not be rerun except where required by law.

15. The Vault

A verified Season winner receives a Vault Key.

One Vault Key permits one prize selection.

Prize access is based on the winner’s Class:

  • Omega: Omega, Alpha, or Delta shelves;
  • Alpha: Alpha or Delta shelves;
  • Delta: Delta shelf.

Unless a prize is expressly identified as limited, multiple winners may select the same prize model.

Once confirmed, a prize selection is final.

If a selected prize becomes unavailable, Sponsor may provide a comparable substitute from the same category and Class.

16. Prize Claims

A winner must complete the required claim process within the published Vault Key deadline.

Every prize claim requires phone verification.

Sponsor may also require verification of:

  • legal name;
  • age;
  • residency;
  • identity;
  • shipping address; and
  • Competition eligibility.

Additional verification procedures may be described in the Terms of Service or applicable prize-claim instructions.

If the winner does not complete the required claim process before the deadline, the prize may be forfeited.

Prize winners are responsible for applicable taxes.

Sponsor may require any tax documentation required by law.

17. Fair Participation

Threaders may:

  • discuss gameplay;
  • share opinions;
  • analyze matches; and
  • collaborate on strategy.

One person may create, control, and use only one Threader account, and may not allow another person to use it. Bot or automated accounts are prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing by Sponsor.

The following are prohibited:

  • intentional conduct designed to manipulate, distort, manufacture, or improperly influence matching, resolution, scoring, GGX, GGS, transfers, qualifying activity, Leaderboard or Class standing, drawing eligibility, drawing entries, or any other Competition result;
  • coordinating with a GPU or any other person to intentionally and improperly influence an underlying gameplay result for the purpose of affecting Competition activity;
  • falsifying eligibility, verification, or prize-claim information; or
  • knowingly exploiting a technical error to create an unfair competitive advantage.

Collaboration between Threaders — discussing gameplay, analyzing matches and GPUs, sharing opinions, and strategizing together — is not collusion by itself.

Sponsor may investigate suspected violations.

If a material violation is confirmed, Sponsor may:

  • void affected activity;
  • correct affected GGS or GGX;
  • remove Leaderboard or Class eligibility;
  • revoke prize eligibility or a Vault Key; or
  • disqualify the account.

Corrective action should be limited to the affected activity where reasonably possible — except confirmed intentional manipulation, which is a zero-tolerance violation under the Terms of Service and results in permanent, person-level exclusion from Gambit Gamer.

18. Technical Errors

Sponsor may correct verified:

  • matching errors;
  • scoring errors;
  • GGS errors;
  • GGX errors;
  • Leaderboard errors;
  • eligibility errors;
  • drawing errors; or
  • other administrative or technical errors.

Sponsor may void, restore, or correct affected Competition activity when reasonably necessary to maintain fair operation.

19. Competition Interruptions

Sponsor may suspend, delay, cancel, or modify Competition activity when reasonably necessary because of:

  • technical failure;
  • fraud;
  • security issues;
  • legal requirements; or
  • other circumstances materially affecting fair operation of the Competition.

Sponsor will preserve valid Competition activity where reasonably possible.

20. Changes to the Rules

The Official Rules and published Season parameters in effect when a Season begins are intended to remain fixed for that Season.

Sponsor may update the Rules between Seasons.

A change during an active Season will be made only when reasonably necessary to address a serious fairness issue, technical failure, security issue, fraud, legal requirement, or other circumstance that materially threatens the integrity of the Competition.

Any mid-Season change will be limited to what is necessary to address that issue and will be communicated to Threaders.

21. Privacy

Personal information is handled according to the Gambit Gamer Privacy Policy.

Public Competition features generally identify Threaders by their Gambit Gamer username rather than legal name.

Additional information may be collected when necessary to verify eligibility or fulfill a prize.

22. Terms of Service

Use of Gambit Gamer is also subject to the Gambit Gamer Terms of Service.

The Terms of Service govern general account use, platform conduct, and other matters not specifically addressed by these Official Rules.

For Competition-specific matters, these Official Rules control if they directly conflict with the Terms of Service.

23. Applicable Law

The Competition is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Governing law, dispute resolution, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and related provisions are set out in the Gambit Gamer Terms of Service, which apply to participation in the Competition. By participating, you agree to those provisions.

24. Contact

Questions about the Competition or these Official Rules may be sent to:

Official Competition communications come only from addresses on the @gambitgamer.com domain. Sponsor never asks for passwords or one-time codes by direct message.

  • Omega requirements;
  • Alpha requirements;
  • Delta requirements;
  • activity requirements;
  • drawing-entry rules;
  • winner counts;
  • Vault claim window; and
  • Summit date and time.

Once published for a Season, those parameters are governed by Section 20.
