1. What This Covers

This policy explains what Gambit Gamer, Inc. collects, why, and your choices.

Gambit Gamer is free to play: there is nothing to purchase in order to participate competitively, gameplay does not require payment-card information, and nothing purchased or sponsored affects competitive standing.

Gambit Gamer may separately host commercial and community activity — merchandise, sponsorships, advertisements, affiliate links, fundraising campaigns, and similar programs. Those are described below, and none of them affect gameplay, ratings, eligibility, or odds of winning.

If you purchase merchandise, make a donation, support a creator, participate in fundraising, or use another paid program, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment provider under separate transaction terms. Gambit Gamer does not collect payment-card information for competitive gameplay.

2. What We Collect

Account: email address, username, password (stored hashed), account settings.

Gameplay: your gambits, matches, resolutions, GGS activity, GGX, ranks, Classes, titles, Cache, and competitive history.

Verification: when required, your phone number. Phone numbers are stored in protected form, with only the last digits kept for display. One number per account.

Prize claims (winners only): legal name, shipping address, and other information required for fulfillment. Tax documentation, where required by law, is collected securely — we do not store Social Security numbers.

Technical: IP address, device and browser information, and activity logs, used for account security, anti-fraud, anti-abuse, multi-account detection, manipulation detection, and platform integrity.

3. What We Don't Collect

We do not collect payment-card information for gameplay. We do not collect precise location or contact lists. We do not obtain personal information from data brokers for advertising purposes, and we do not currently use third-party cross-site behavioral advertising trackers.

4. How We Use Information

operate the platform: matching, resolution, ratings, leaderboards, seasons;
run the Competition: eligibility, Classes, drawings, prize claims, and fulfillment;
protect integrity: verification, anti-abuse, and detection of manipulation, collusion, and multi-account activity;
communicate: service email (verification, winner notification, claim status) and product updates you can opt out of;
support commercial and community programs: display and operate sponsorships, advertisements, affiliate links, brand integrations, promotional partnerships, fundraising and charitable campaigns, creator-support opportunities, and similar programs, and measure impressions, clicks, participation, and aggregate campaign performance; and
meet legal obligations, including tax records.

Sponsorship, advertising, affiliate, and fundraising activity never affects GGS, GGX, Class eligibility, drawing entries, prize eligibility, odds of winning, or how you are treated competitively.

5. Sponsorships and Advertising

Gambit Gamer may display brand sponsorships, sponsored GPU placements, sponsored rooms or surfaces, banner advertising, sponsored content, product placements, affiliate links, branded campaigns, promotional partnerships, and sponsored Vault or prize relationships.

Sponsored content and advertisements may be based on the context in which they appear — the page, GPU, game, event, room, or feature — rather than a behavioral profile built from your activity across unrelated websites or services.

If we materially change our advertising practices, we will update this policy and provide any notice, consent, or choices required by applicable law.

6. Fundraising and Community Programs

Gambit Gamer may host, display, support, or promote fundraising campaigns, charitable initiatives, creator-support programs, sponsored campaigns, and other community initiatives.

Limited platform information — impressions, clicks, participation, and aggregate engagement — may be used to operate and measure those campaigns. We do not provide fundraising partners with your directly identifying personal information for their own marketing or fundraising purposes unless we clearly disclose that separately and obtain any consent required by law.

7. Public by Design

Gambit Gamer is a competitive platform. Your username, GGX, ranks, Classes, titles, Cache showcase, Competition results, leaderboard placement, ceremony and replay participation, and winner history are public and appear on leaderboards, ceremonies, replays, and winner histories. Winners are identified by username only — never legal name — unless a separate disclosure or consent exists.

Your legal name, email, phone number, shipping address, verification information, and tax information are not made public by Gambit Gamer, and sponsors, advertisers, and fundraising partners do not receive them merely because they sponsor a program.

Service providers who run the platform for us: hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, SMS verification, shipping carriers (winners' delivery details only), and security, fraud-prevention, and analytics providers. Each receives only what its role requires.

Program partners: sponsors, advertisers, fundraising partners, charitable organizations, and affiliate partners may receive aggregate, statistical, or non-identifying information about campaign performance — impressions, clicks, participation, general audience statistics.

We do not provide sponsors, advertisers, fundraising partners, or affiliate partners with your legal name, email address, phone number, shipping address, verification information, or other directly identifying personal information for their own advertising or marketing purposes unless we clearly disclose that separately and obtain any consent required by law.

We share information when the law requires it, or to protect Gambit Gamer and its users from fraud or abuse.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising, Sponsorships, and Fundraising

We use essential cookies for sign-in, security, and platform operation, and privacy-respecting analytics to understand feature use and improve the service.

Gambit Gamer may display advertisements, sponsored content, sponsored GPU placements, brand integrations, affiliate links, promotional campaigns, charitable fundraising, creator-support programs, and other commercial or community content. None of it affects GGS, GGX, Class eligibility, drawing entries, prize eligibility, or odds of winning.

We do not currently use third-party cross-site behavioral advertising networks to track users across unrelated websites or services for personalized advertising. If we materially change our advertising or tracking practices, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice, consent, or choices required by applicable law.

10. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, your public profile is anonymized. Audit trails, resolution ledgers, Competition integrity records, prize-award records, tax records, and fraud and security records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for integrity, security, legal, tax, dispute, or recordkeeping purposes, then deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to: know and access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; receive a portable copy; opt out of certain data uses where applicable; appeal certain privacy-request decisions where required; and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

California residents: if and to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to Gambit Gamer, California law may provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal information, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" as those terms are defined by law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where applicable, you may also have rights regarding sensitive personal information and may use an authorized agent as provided by law.

12. International Users

Gambit Gamer is currently operated from the United States. Availability outside the United States may be limited by applicable law, Competition eligibility requirements, or platform availability.

If Gambit Gamer expands into jurisdictions requiring additional privacy disclosures or rights, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.

13. Age

Gambit Gamer is for adults 18 and older. People under 18 may not create an account, and we do not knowingly collect their information; accounts found to belong to minors are removed.

14. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, verification data is protected, transport is encrypted, and access to personal information is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as applicable law requires.

15. Official Communications

Official Gambit Gamer email comes only from addresses on the @gambitgamer.com domain, and official accounts and channels are verifiable through gambitgamer.com or another official channel published by Gambit Gamer, Inc. We never ask for your password, credentials, or one-time verification codes by unsolicited direct message. Do not send money, codes, credentials, or sensitive personal information to anyone claiming to represent Gambit Gamer unless you have independently verified the communication. Report suspicious contact to support@gambitgamer.com.

16. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as Gambit Gamer evolves. Material changes will be announced before or when they take effect, as required by law, along with any notice, consent, or choices the law requires.
